MCDA works to protect the interests of its members through legislative advocacy, marketing initiatives, and events that celebrate Michigan’s rich history of artisanal distilling.
A Distiller Member is a Michigan based manufacturer of spirits who holds both a Federal Distilled Spirits Plant License in addition to a Michigan Distiller or Small Distiller License. MCDA will recognize any Distiller Member as a voting member and any member is eligible to be elected to the Board of Director’s and may serve as an officer of the Corporation.

MDARD Qualified Distiller – A MDARD Qualified Distiller is a Michigan based manufacturer of spirits holding a Michigan Small Distillers License along with a Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) Qualified Small Distillers Certificate.
